Bicycle Sundays to resume May 2

Bicycle Sundays will start up again in four weeks — on May 2 — when the city shuts down a long stretch of Lake Washington Boulevard to vehicles from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., allowing cyclists to have the roadway all to themselves. The weekly event will continue through Sept. 26 with a few exceptions — June 20, July 4 and Aug. 8. The route runs from Mount Baker Beach south to Seward Park.
